Winners of the Pool Professionals Scholarship for TSA Swimmers

Last week, TSA President Cathy Traugot received word from Ali Greiner, Director of Staff at Pool Professionals, that the company had selected the two recipients of the $1,000 Pool Professionals Scholarships for TSA Swimmers. Those two young people are:

Christopher Aud from Sunset Ridge. Christopher is a competitive, outgoing and spirited person who attributes the man he has become to his eleven years of swimming for his summer team. He writes that “TSA has been my summer go-to activity… Never once have I considered not doing it, because it has become a part of me.”

Jessica Stringfellow from Glenridge. Jessica competed for the Gators for 13 years and embodies the core values of TSA with her excellent work ethic, leadership and high moral standards. She notes that “Not only has swimming taught me self-discipline, time management and sportsmanship… it has changed the way I spend my life.”

Congratulations to Jessica and Christopher for their accomplishments, and best wishes to both of them in their further educational pursuits!

I know that everyone in TSA will also join me in expressing our gratitude to Pool Professionals for their generosity in funding this scholarship program year after year. The company, which was founded and is run by former TSA swimmer David Harvey, is truly a North Carolina success story. We thank David and his business for their continuing commitment to the local swimming community.
