Carpenter Village Hammerheads Hiring Coaches!
The Carpenter Village Hammerheads in west Cary are looking for assistant swim coaches for the upcoming summer season. We are in need of energetic, team oriented coaches to help guide us on our road to success! Candidates will need to be available May 12, 2018 – July 20, 2018 for weekday afternoon practices 5-8 pm, and Saturday practices 8-11 am. There will also be morning practices starting in June. Swimming/coaching background is preferred. Lifeguard certification is required. Competitive pay. If interested, contact Inga Allred.

Crooked Creek Crocs Hiring Coaches
The Crooked Creek Crocs, a community pool located in Fuquay-Varina, are hiring coaches for the 2018 summer season. The Crocs are seeking applicants for both Head Coach and Assistant Coach.
The primary goal of the Crooked Creek Crocs is to offer a fun and competitive summer swim program to the youth of the Crooked Creek Community. The coaches' key objectives are to aid swimmers in mastering strokes, setting and achieving goals, practicing good sportsmanship, and developing confidence through swimming.
The positions run from the beginning of May through July. The work schedule will vary, including weekday morning and evening practices and 8 meets throughout the season (includes mock meet and championship meet).
Duties include, but are not limited to, developing seasonal goals, workouts, creating meet lineups, coaching throughout swim meets, data entry, assisting with set up and tear down of meets, and keeping records and reports, as necessary.

The Scott's Mill Sea Dragons are Seeking Energetic, Enthusiastic Coaches for Summer 2018!
Coaches Responsibilities- Participate in all aspects of a summer youth swim program. Work closely with the swim team board members and other coaches to ensure a smooth, fun season by providing swimming instruction, coaching and team building exercises for children age 3-18.
Swim instruction includes teaching, demonstration and leading practice in the four swimming strokes as well as teaching of proper technique for turns, starts, and relay execution.
Coaches will be required to attend the following events:
- Daily Practices
- Meet the Coach Event
- Splash Night
- Durham Bulls Swim night
- End of Season Banquet
- Championship meet like Cary City Meet
- Other events as deemed necessary by the board
Lead, direct, and manage the Junior coaches, during practices and at meets. Coach and develop them to improve their coaching & mentoring skills.
Develop the team by:
A. Working to improve our swimmers’ Personal Best Times
B. Building swimmer confidence
C. Increasing team spirit and camaraderie in the Dragons’ Lair
D. Find the balance of work/fun while striving to reach Team Goals

Assist in directing the summer swim team for the LPK Marlins. Position runs from the beginning of May through the end of July. Work schedule will vary, including weekday morning and evening and Saturday morning practices, as well as eight (8) swim meets throughout the season (including the championship meet).
