The Club at 12 Oaks Seeking Swim Coaches 2020

The Club at 12 Oaks is a private country club located in Holly Springs, NC. Each Summer, our young members participate in the Triangle Swim Association, Southern League (TSA) from late-May through July. Our Youth Department is currently seeking energetic, friendly, and experienced individuals to join our Coaching Staff.

Working on a 3-4 person coaching team, coaches will work with different age groups in training sessions to build confidence, gain techniques, and have fun! Each coach is responsible for working independently as well as on the team to further each swimmer's goals. Coaches will be in the water during practice giving guidance and support.

Candidates requirements:

• Must have experience working with children.
• Must have prior experience as a swim coach or assistant.
• Must have Lifeguard CPR Certification (or be willing to get it before May 1, 2020.)
• Must be able to promote, lead, teach, and conduct sessions in and out of the water.
• Must be capable of controlling a group of children and maintaining order.
• Must be able to enforce rules, act as a role model, and be spatially aware while promoting a fun and safe environment.
• Must be professional at all times.
• Must be well-spoken and an effective communicator to children, staff, management, and parents.
• Must be responsible, have integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Experience with Swimmingly and Swimtopia a plus.

Have full availability from May 27th - July 28th which will include but is not limited to the following:

May 27th - June 12th (Evening ONLY Monday-Friday): 

Ages 9/10*, 11 & Up: 4:30-5:30pm

Mini Torpedoes: 5:30-6:00pm

Ages 6 & Under: 6:00-6:30pm

Ages 7/8: 6:30-7:15pm

Ages 9/10: 6:30-7:30pm

June 15th - July 24th (AM and PM): 

Morning Schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Mini Torpedoes: 9:00-9:30am

Ages 6 and under: 9:30-10:00am

Ages 7-8: 10:00-10:45am

Ages 9 and up: 10:45-11:45am

Evening Schedule (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday): 

Ages 9/10*, 11&Up: 4:30-5:30pm

Mini Torpedoes: 5:30-6:00pm

Ages 6 & Under: 6:00-6:30pm

Ages 7/8: 6:30-7:15pm

Ages 9/10: 6:30-7:30pm

*The 9/10 year olds will have an option of either practice time. They can join the 11&Up or 7/8 group. Should they come at 6:30pm they will go an extended 15 minutes.

All meets are on Tuesday evenings.
