The Charleston Village Crocodiles Swim Team is seeking a head coach and assistant coach for the 2022 summer swim season. Our team of 90 kids will be starting their 16th season this summer! Essential Job Functions:
Work with swimmers from 4-18 to develop their knowledge of competitive swimming
Establish leveled practice schedules and workouts
Create a good rapport with the swimmers and parents
Provide informative feedback to swimmers
Collaborate with the CVC board
Encourage participation in meets
Help swimmers build confidence in their strokes
Provide a fun and positive environment for the swimmers and their families
Requirements:
Knowledge of the four basic strokes (free, breast, back and butterfly)
Ability to teach techniques to improve swimmers, skills
Must be available for the season May-July
Must be able to attend meets on Tuesday in the summer
Experience in coaching preferred
Head Coach must be 18 years or older
