ABBINGTON ALLIGATORS looking for an Assistant Swim Coach

The Abbington Alligators Swim Team is seeking a professional, dedicated Assistant Coach for the 2015 summer season.  We are a large team of approximately 200 swimmers.  The successful candidate's skills will include:

*Competitive swimming at college or high school level
*Coaching experience preferred
*Ability to demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for teaching and motivating young swimmers
*The ability to work with and manage Junior Coaches
*The ability to work with the Head Coach on the daily running of the team and meet line-ups
*Access to e-mail daily
*Must be certified in First Aid and CPR, and Certified Water Safety Instructor

Preston Village is Looking for Head Coach and Assistant Coaches

The Preston Village Swim Team is looking for experienced swim coaches to work with our team this summer.  Practices begin May 18, 2015 from 4:30-7:30 pm with morning practices 9:30-11:30 am starting June 11, 2015.  Some modifications are possible for the right candidate. Free starting blocks available

The Scotts Mill Sea Dragons have 8 wooden blocks that we would love to give to a new team or a team in need!  The blocks are in good shape and would need only minor maintenance, such as tightening screws, etc.  Please email the Scotts Mill Sea Dragon board at if you are interested.

Assistant Coaches wanted at Scotts Mill in Apex

The Scotts Mill Sea Dragons are seeking to fill assistant coach positions.  The responsibilities of the Assistant Coach include:  Participate in all aspects of a summer youth swim program. Work closely with the swim team board members and other coaches to ensure a smooth, fun season by providing swimming instruction, coaching and team building exercises for children age 4-18.

Swim instruction includes teaching, demonstration and leading practice in the four swimming strokes as well as teaching of proper technique for turns, starts, and relay execution.

Assistant coach will be required to attend the following events:
o   Daily Practices
o   Meet the Coach Event
o   Splash Night
o   Durham Bulls Swim night
o   End of Season Banquet
o   Championship meet like Cary City Meet
o   Other events as deemed necessary by the board

Participate in the selection of the Junior coaches.  Lead, direct, and manage the Junior coaches, during practices and at meets.  Coach and develop them to improve their coaching & mentoring skills.

Develop the team to the next level by:
            A.  Working to improve our swimmers’ Personal Best Times
            B.  Building swimmer confidence
C.  Increasing team spirit and camaraderie in the Dragons’ Lair
D.  Find the balance of work/fun while striving to reach Team Goals

Head Coach Needed for Bella Casa Barracudas' Inaugural Year!

The Bella Casa Barracudas in Apex are seeking a head coach for our new summer swim team.   We will be an official team with Tuesday night meets.  We have 6 lanes and anticipate at least 110 swimmers.  We will have a developmental team for those unable to swim 15 yards and Junior Coaches.  Practices times will be determined based on the availability of the coach, but M-Th and Sunday from 5:30-8:15 is desired.  Professional liability and automobile insurance required per HOA management group.  Please send resumes indicating interest to bellacasabarracudas@gmail.com.  Come help us create a new and exciting TSA team!

Coach Needed! Haddon Hall Hammerheads Summer Swim Team

The Charleston Village Crocodiles Swim Team is seeking a head coach for the 2015 summer swim season. The Crocodiles have about 100 swimmers that range in ages from 4-18 and vary in skill level. Essential Job Functions
Work with swimmers from 4-18 to develop their knowledge of competitive swimming
Establish leveled practice schedules and workouts

Help swimmers build confidence in their strokes
Provide a fun and positive environment for the swimmers and their families

Requirements
Experience in Coaching
Knowledge of the four basic strokes (free, breast, back and butterfly)
Ability to teach techniques to improve swimmers, skills
Must be available for the season May-August
Must be able to attend meets on Tuesday in the summer

Wendell Waves Seeking Applicants for Swim Team Coach Position(s)

The Wendell Waves Swim Team is currently looking for qualified and experienced applicants interested in coaching our 2015 summer swim team consisting of approximately 50-60 swimmers. The position runs from the beginning of May through the end of July. The coaching work schedule will include weekday morning and evening practices and six (6) consecutive swim meets between June and July. Assistant coach needed - Brookstone Barracudas

The Brookstone Barracudas are looking for an energetic, motivated person to be an assistant coach for our kids this upcoming summer swim season. This is a great opportunity for a person who has competitive swim experience and perhaps some coaching experience to gain new experience and have fun doing it. Online Swim Team Management System for TSA Teams

TSA Swim Team Manager (TSTM) is designed for TSA swim teams, and has been in service for the past 5 years.  The system has been evolving with the encouragement and support of many TSA teams.  The number of teams using TSTM grew to 15 last year.

TSTM services include online registration, meet and volunteer management, team store, communication through email and text, automatic lineup conforming TSA rules and creation of many forms and reports, and many many other features.

In 2015 season, TSTM has the new addition of the ONDECK System facilitating running a dual meet at the pool, aiming to further reduce paperwork and volunteer efforts.

Lake Park Blue Marlins is seeking Head Coach

The primary goal of the Lake Park Blue Marlins (LPK) is to offer a fun and competitive summer swim program to the youth of the LPK Community. The Coaches’ key objectives are to aid swimmers in mastering strokes, setting and achieving goals, practicing good sportsmanship and developing confidence through swimming. 

HEAD COACH JOB DESCRIPTION:
Direct summer swim team for the LPK Marlins. Position runs from the beginning of May through the end of July.  Work schedule will vary, including weekday morning and evening and Saturday morning practices, as well as eight (8) swim meets throughout the season (including the championship meet).
