BLACK HORSE RUN HEAD COACH POSITION AVAILABLE

Black Horse Run - N. Ral - now hiring for head coach.  All the normal summer league requirements apply.  
  • Practice times M-F 3:45 - 6:45.  
  • Tues meets set up in computer system over weekend by Sunday night.  
  • Need to be available from 5-17 to 7-23 (awards night date set).  
  • Your job? -  keep those swimmers working and happy. Our 3 year coach moved last fall - she would gladly give you a good report about the managing of our organization. 
  • Our team management handles all parent responsibilities and running the meets.  We have the best parents!
  • Pool managed by AMG (you could potentially life guard here as well)
  • $3500 10 week salary pd biweekly

HEAD SWIM COACH NEEDED ~ CARPENTER VILLAGE HAMMERHEADS!

The Carpenter Village Hammerheads in West Cary are looking for a Head Swim Coach for the upcoming 2019 summer season. We are in need of an energetic, team oriented coach to help guide us on our road to success!

He/She will need to be available May 11, 2019 – July 18, 2019 for weekday afternoon practices 5-8 pm, and Saturday practices 8-11 am. There will also be morning practices starting in June.  Swimming/coaching background is a must.  Lifeguard certification is required. Scotts Mill Seadragons hiring coaches for summer 2019 summer

The Scotts Mill Seadragons Swim Team is seeking coaches for the upcoming 2019 swim season. We are a TSA summer competitive swim team. As we work to grow our swim club, we are looking for a highly driven, high-energy individuals to lead approximately 150-200 swimmers of all ability levels and increase its numbers. The coaching staff will provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for all swim team members. 

Coaches will serve on a part-time basis, averaging 20-35 hours/week, which will vary during scheduled swim meets and other events, as needed. Practices are held at the Scotts Mill neighborhood pool and swim meets occur on Tuesday evenings in the surrounding Apex/Cary/Holly Springs area.
Job and Responsibility Description
– Plan meets and practices and daily workouts in coordination with assistant coaching staff.
– Promote a fun, safe, and team-oriented environment, while fostering learning and team spirit in a fair and impartial manner.
– Be a role model for swimmers when making personal decisions.
– Responsible for retaining and recruiting swimmers.
– Identify age and skill appropriate drills for each swim level that includes starts, strokes, and turns.
– Create and maintain control and a safe environment for the swimmers.
– Provide stroke technique for beginning, intermediate, and advanced swimmers.
– Review meet results (including disqualification issues) and provide feedback to each swimmer.
– Complete all scheduling of assistant coaches; certify and submit payroll every month.
– Prepare meet lineups, including completing all entries into Hy-Tek and Team Unify swim databases.
– Train/Mentor junior coaching staff to ensure consistency within the program.
– Coordinate, participate and/or lead coaches’ meetings.
– Communicate with swimmers, parents, and Board members in an effective and professional manner.
– Work with the Board members and participate in Club activities (fundraising events, end of season banquets, etc.).
– Build productive and professional relationships with other local swim clubs.
– Report to the Swim Team Board.

HOW TO APPLY

Deadline for submission is Monday, February 4th. Interviews for coaching positions will be conducted between February 11th and  March 1st with notification of hiring by March 15.

MORE MOR CLINIC LOCATIONS THAN EVER BEFORE

The Marlins of Raleigh Swim Team is kicking off more clinic locations than ever before in 2019.  Starting in February, MOR is launching single-day stroke clinics on specific areas of interest to all swimmers.  These clinics continue through March and TSA swimmers can sign up for one or more of the clinics at the MOR website - www.marlinsofraleigh.com. 

MOR's annual Spring Clinic - "MOR In MAY" kicks off the week of April 22 and goes through May 11.  This 3-day per week clinic will be offered at three different sites in Wake County and is available to swimmers of all ages.  Registration for MOR in MAY is open now at the MOR website and lasts until the clinic fills.  The cost is $110 per student.

The Charleston Village Crocodiles swim team is seeking a skilled and responsible Head Coach and Assistant Coach for the 2019 TSA summer swim season.

Responsibilities

  • Develop swimmer's knowledge of competitive swimming
  • Establish practice schedules and workouts for each age group
  • Create a good rapport with the swimmers and parents
  • Provide informative feedback to swimmers
  • Collaborate with the CV Swim Team Board
  • Encourage participation in meets
  • Help swimmers build confidence in their strokes
  • Work with coaching staff to prepare meet line ups
  • Provide a fun and positive environment for the swimmers and their families
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience as a year-round USA Swimming swimmer (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the proper techniques for all four swim strokes
  • Ability to teach techniques to improve swimmers and their skills
  • Available for the summer swim season May-July
  • Able to attend meets on Tuesday evenings in the summer
  • Coaching experience is preferred
Pay rates are competitive and dependent on experience.
